Sejarah UPF BBKPM

Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat ( BBKPM ) Makassar dahulunya bernama Balai Pengobatan Penyakit Paru-Paru (BP4) Makassar yang didirikan pertama kali pada tanggal 27 Juni 1959 bertempat di Jl. HOS. Ttjokroaminoto dan diresmikan tanggal 30 April 1960 oleh Gubernur Sulawesi , A. Pangerang Dg. Rani. Pada waktu itu dikepalai oleh Dr. Med. RN. Tyagi, seorang dokter berkebangsaan India, dan dibantu secara sukarela oleh Dr. Med. WJ. Meyer, dokter berkebangsaan Jerman (1965-1995).

Dengan adanya pengembangan kota, maka Gedung BP4 dipindahkan ke daerah pengembangan di Jl. A.P. Pettarani No. 43 dan diresmikan oleh Menteri Kesehatan pada tanggal 13 November 1993. Perubahan nama BP4 menjadi Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat (BBKPM) Makassar – Sulawesi Selatan dimulai sejak tanggal 14 September 2005 berdasarkan Permenkes RI No.1352/Menkes/PER/IX/2005 tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Unit Pelaksana Teknis di Bidang Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat.

Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 26 Tahun 2022 Tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kelola Rumah Sakit di Lingkungan Kementerian Kesehatan pada Bab XIII Pasal 117 Ayat 2 Huruf d, Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat (BBKPM) Makassar di Integrasikan dengan RSUP. Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar.

Berdasarkan Permenkes tersebut maka BBKPM Makassar berganti nama menjadi UPF BBKPM RSUP Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar.

  1. Memperbaiki fasilitas pendukung dan waktu tunggu pelayanan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien

  2. Meningkatkan produktivitas kerja dengan meakukan perbaikan system remunerasi, pelatihan dan pengembangan karir yang berkeadilan

  3. Standarisasi pelayanan dengan Panduan Praktik Klinis (PPK) dan clinical pathway serta peningkatan riset medis

  4. Memperbaiki sistem, proses dan manajemen operasinal rumah sakit secara efektif dan efisien melalui digitalisasi pelayanan

  5. Memperkuat kolaborasi dengan pengampu nasional dalam memperoleh sumber daya yang memadai untuk menndukung pengembangan riset medis di rumah sakit
